Join us for this all ages Main Event at the StoryWalk at Jared's Dog Park in Roosevelt Forest!
The Safety PAWtrol: Dog Safety and Bite Prevention with the CT Humane Society
This interactive program will teach children and families how to be safe around dogs. Participants will learn how to read dog body language and how to safely approach, greet, and interact with dogs.
Please note - the program is just for people, no dogs. The CT Humane Society does not work with live animals during the program, for safety, allergy, distraction and fear concerns. Instead, they use life size plush pets for hands on demonstration and interactive learning.
