Sunday Afternoon Talks: EQUITY IS JUSTICE: PUBLIC HEALTH, POLICY AND HUMAN RIGHTS In-Person
Guest speaker Kelly Vaughan will give a brief introduction of Global Girls Worldwide Women (GGWW), who they are, and what they do. And then talk about the issues that the group specifically address: child marriage, safety and opportunity for girls in school, FGM/C, policy making, the experience of women in war, and legal reform.
Kelly Vaughan, Founder and CEO of Global Girls Worldwide Women, is a relentless advocate for girls and women. She works to end human rights violations and engage everyone, from grassroots to leaders of nations in actions that bring safety, opportunity, justice, economic independence, and peace around the world.
