Piano with Friends: Chords In-Person
Ages 7-12. This month, we'll be learning about chord! We'll be diving into music theory with a quick study of what chords are, the sounds they make on the piano, and how they are built, focusing on the C scale and chords. We will then practice playing chords and melody separately for Beethoven's "Ode to Joy." We'll be doing math up to 10 - if it's helpful to have a parent with you, please feel free to bring them! Please note, you must attend at least one music basics class to be able to participate in this session where we will put our skills to use!
