Jamilah Henna Creations

Special event during our Adult Summer Social - Adults Only First Come First Served

Henna has been used as body art for over 5000 years and is a time honored tradition among various cultures and religions of the world. The henna plant grows in the arid climates of North Africa, the Middle East, and Southern Asia. It’s leaves contain a pigment called lawsone which combines with proteins in the skin to cause staining. Because of this staining quality, henna has been used throughout the ages to dye hair and create body art designs.
