Jigsaw Puzzle Competition! In-Person
Are you ready to puzzle? Join our speed puzzle competition!
Create your team of 3-5 people (ages 12+) to compete to complete a 500 piece puzzle (provided by the Library) in the shortest time. You will need to register your team before the event. Please choose one person to register your team for the competition; they should list the other team members on the registration form. Team names and themes encouraged!
Check-in begins at 10 am, the competition will start promptly at 10:30 am.
Top team will win a prize. All teams will be able to take their puzzle home with them. We will provide the puzzle, plus snacks & drinks.
Competition rules:
- Each team will work on the same puzzle.
- Puzzles will be placed on the tables and covered. Puzzle boxes will not be touched or opened until the timer begins.
- The competition will last 2 hours. If there is no winner by the end of the time limit, the winning team will be determined by the number of remaining puzzle pieces.
- No devices or outside assistance permitted while working on the puzzle.
- A library staff member will run the timer, note completion times, and ensure that competitors are abiding by the rules
