"Little Gems" adult book discussion "Wobble to Death" by Peter Lovesey In-Person
Join our next "Little Gems" adult book discussion of Wobble to Death by Peter Lovesey. This first book in the Sergeant Cribb sports-related series (which launched Lovesey's writing career) takes place in London, 1879. Lovesey's creation of Sergeant Cribb is credited with paving the way for other period detectives by authors including Ellis Peters and Lindsey Davis. After Wobble to Death, Lovesey wrote more than forty books. He became one of three writers to receive the Mystery Writers of America Grand Master Award & the Crime Writers Association Diamond Dagger for Lifetime Achievement.
