Homework Help Online
The Children's Department, courtesy of the Vicki Soto Memorial Fund and the Carol Pieper Memorial Fund, will offer weekly Homework Help on Thursday nights, via Zoom. This program is for families with children in grades K-6. Bring homework, and ask questions about math, reading, and other school subjects. Sign up for each week individually - space is limited, and homework help will be provided by high school volunteers. Homework Helpers and its high school tutors cannot provide medically prescribed or special needs tutoring.
How to Prepare: It is helpful if children have a whiteboard or a clipboard, or an easel (you can make one by taping a binder into a triangle) so it's easier to show homework to the teen tutors. If families need help with Zoom or connecting to Homework Help, please call the Children's Department at 203.385.4165 and ask for Miss A.
