Black History Month Puzzle Piece Art Co-Op: Grab 'n' Go Kit In-Person
Calling all teen artists grades 6-12!
Inspired by this year's theme, The Black Family: Representation, Identity, & Diversity, we invite you to create your own work-of-art (in any style you choose) to be included in our Black History Month Puzzle Piece Art Co-Op exhibit.
Participation is simple: register for a Teen Grab 'n' Go kit (paint supplies and puzzle piece included), design/create your own original artwork on the puzzle piece provided, & then submit to be included in our art exhibit on or before the deadline: Monday, February 22.
This program includes a Teen Grab 'n' Go kit for grades 6-13. The first 48 teen registrants will receive an email from a Teen staff member (Beth, Teresa, Jackie or Chris) during Library hours (Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 10am-5pm or Tuesday & Wednesday 1pm-8pm) to notify you of the 2-week pick-up window. Teens: Please be sure to check your spam folder if you haven't heard from us within 48 hours. Registration for a Teen Grab ‘n’ Go kit starts on Tuesday, January 26 and will be available while supplies last. Registration can be done in-person or online. We will send 1 follow-up email reminder to teen registrants 1 week before the designated pick-up window ends. If you miss the 2-week pick-up window, we will assume you're no longer interested and will make your spot available for another interested teen. Thank you for your understanding.
