Local author Roberta Seret will discuss her "Transylvanian Trilogy" of books today.
The Transylvanian Trilogy is three interconnected stories set in Romania, Turkey, and Iran, where governmental intrigues are little known and waiting to be discovered. All three books, Gift of Diamonds, Love Odyssey, and Treasure Seekers, can be read independently or in order. The main characters--Mica, Anca, Marina, and Cristina--have been friends since their teenage years in Transylvania, where they were known as the Four Musketeers and Poets of Their Lives. As they narrate their lives, their stories interweave fact and fiction to reveal political truths that have never been exposed before.
