Teen Graphic Novel: "The Crossover" Grab 'n' Go

Teen Graphic Novel: "The Crossover" Grab 'n' Go In-Person

Join our super fun & informal book club for grades 7-12!

Snag a copy of our latest graphic novel pick, The Crossover by Kwame Alexander, read the book in March & then meet-up on our Teen Discord Server’s #BookChat Channel on April 14 at 4pm to chat!

Story blurb: “With a bolt of lightning on my kicks . . . The court is SIZZLING. My sweat is DRIZZLING. Stop all that quivering. ’Cuz tonight I’m delivering,” raps twelve-year-old Josh Bell. Thanks to their dad, he and his twin brother, Jordan, are kings on the court. But Josh has more than basketball in his blood—he’s got mad beats, too, which help him find his rhythm when it’s all on the line.

This program includes a Teen Grab 'n' Go kit for grades 7-12. The first 12 teen registrants will receive an email from a Teen staff member (Beth, Teresa, Jackie or Chris) during Library hours (Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 10am-5pm or Tuesday & Wednesday 1pm-8pm) to notify you of the 2-week pick-up window AND to share the Teen Discord Server link.

Teens: Please be sure to check your spam folder if you haven't heard from us within 48 hours. Registration for a Teen Grab ‘n’ Go kit starts on March 2nd and will be available while supplies last. Registration can be done in-person or online. We will send 1 follow-up email reminder to teen registrants 1 week before the designated pick-up window ends. If you miss the 2-week pick-up window, we will assume you're no longer interested and will make your spot available for another interested teen. Thank you for your understanding.

Missed out on a kit but would still like to join the conversation on our Teen Discord Server? Register here: Teen Graphic Novel: The Crossover" Discord Meet-Up to receive *just* the Teen Discord link (open to grades 7-12 only).
