SUMMARY:Sunday Afternoon Talks: AN ADVENTURE THROUGH ICELAND
DESCRIPTION:Iceland is a land of geographic wonders. It is filled with 
 fiery volcanoes\, icy glaciers and healing hot springs. We will explore the 
 wonders and the beauty of the island\, as well as show some of the rich 
 Viking culture. The Vikings were adventurous explorers\, fierce fighters as 
 well as being wonderful storytellers.  Their history is told primarily 
 through its sagas. We will meet some of these storytellers on our 
 exploration of the island.\n\nPresenters  Elsa Cantor and Don Lamberty are 
 both retired educators. In retirement as husband and wife\, they have been 
 exploring the far corners of the world  and have enjoyed  sharing their 
 adventures with many others.
