 SPECIAL EVENT FOR THE 125TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE LIBRARY!\n\n\nSpecters 
 Galore from Forest to Shore\nThere always seems to be a lot of talk around 
 town\, every year about this time\, concerning hauntings and witches. The 
 same old familiar names and places always seem to be bandied about: Phelps 
 Mansion\, Boothe Park\, Goody Bassett.  Stratford's "spookiness"\, 
 however\, transcends all of these. Stratford is so much more than one 
 ghost\, one witch\, one perilous journey into darkness.  Join us on October 
 30th as we discuss some of the venues in Stratford that may well raise the 
 hair on the back your neck\, put a nervous smile on your lips\, and leave 
 you watching over your shoulder attempting to determine if what you just 
 saw out of the corner of your eye was a shadow\, or something much more 
 ominous!\n\n \n\n \n\nAbout Dave Wright:\n\nBorn and raised in the West 
 viz. Nevada\, Idaho\, Utah\, and California.\n \n\nMajored in Accounting 
 and Data Processing in college.\n\n \n\nPossess certifications as a 
 Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)\, a Certified Government Chief 
 Information Officer (CGCIO)\, and a Master Wildlife Conservationist 
 (MWC).\n\n \n\nDepartment head of Computer Systems at Philips Junior 
 College.  Held directorship level positions in Information Technology at 
 Zions Utah Bancorp\, Campbell Soup\, Nestle Foods\, and BIC Corporation 
 over a 28 year period of time.  Currently Manager of Information Technology 
 for the Town of Stratford (18 years) and Stratford Town Historian.\n\n 
 \nVolunteer work has included Beardsley Zoo\, State of Connecticut 
 Department of Environmental Protection\, US Fish and Wildlife\, Connecticut 
 Audubon\, Darien Nature Center\, Stratford Historical Society\, and 
 Stratford Recreation Department.\n\n \n\nLived in this area for over 35 
 years.  Have led nature walks and historical walks for the town for 18 
 years.
